BASEMENT KITCHEN LIGHTING
Discover how we have transformed other spaces with the power of light
In a basement kitchen with little natural light, it is key to get the lighting right. The stairs are lit with directional Lucca 30 floor washers with a glare cowl, ideal to use when you cannot add wall lights. Contour HD27 is used to uplight above the kitchen cabinets providing a bright reflected light during the day. The centre of the island is lit with Square Double Trimless downlights to provide task light over the island. To add depth in the joinery, glass fronted cupboards were used and the internal shelving is lit with miniature Luccini downlights. In addition the fronts of the cupboards are washed with light from Polespring 50 downlights.
