AUTUMN DESIGN TRAIL – CURIO IN RESIDENCE
Posts
The Chelsea Design Quarter annual Autumn Design Trail is taking place from 1st – 15th November, and we are delighted to be taking part in our London showroom. The theme for this years event is ‘Art, Artists & Artisans’, with a range of different disciplines on display from marbling to mosaics and fine art to contemporary art.
Within the showroom we are very excited to have Curio in residence. Curio is a digital platform that curates and sells furniture, lighting, accessories and art handmade by a portfolio of over 100 makers and artisans from all over the world. The Curio team has scoured the globe, to uncover and spotlight diverse and globally under-represented talent. In doing so, they hope to safeguard traditional craft skills for the future and bring to market out-of-the-ordinary, never seen before makers and pieces.
The items from Curio will be on display at the showroom throughout November, so do pop in to take a look.
There are 15 stops on the trail this year running from the where the King’s Road meets Waterford Road to the top of Lot’s Road. This year Chelsea Design Quarter are holding a prize draw to win membership for one person to either The Tate or Royal Academy, for those that manage to complete the full trail. Full details on all the stops, plus how to enter the competition can be found here.
