The name Karen Howes has long been associated with elegance, style and unique approach to interior design. Karen’s own story began with a passion and a dream. As Chief Executive and Founder of Taylor Howes (an interior design practice based in the heart of London’s fashionable Kinghtsbridge), a guest lecturer at KCL School of Design and co-founder of Chelsea Harbour-based interior design firm th2 Designs, she is now one of the most recognisable figures in interior design. We are thrilled to share our new Behind The Scenes interview with Karen, during which she talks about her inspirations, shares design tips and simply inspires with her true love for design.

Karen Howes established one of Great Britain’s leading design studios known for their use of colour and a positive, approachable, refreshing energy. Karen is a great champion of the interior design profession, commited to her role as a guest lecturer at KLC School of Design.
Through her passion for business as well as design, Karen established professional network, Business of Design in 2017; a forum where thought leaders, entrepreneurs and business people from design-led brands and industries interact with the aim of advancing knowledge and ideas, connect and collaborate.
