Herman has made his career in early adopter innovative electronic products across multiple industries. He has a strong background in commercial strategising and has held senior leadership roles in blue-chip companies, to board positions in SME architectural lighting businesses in start-up and turnaround environments, collaborating with architects and interior designers into the built environment. Herman brings his knowledge and expertise in start-ups, company development, product manufacture and business strategy in different sectors. Herman took over the role of CEO in 2022, having long admired the company in previous roles as the benchmark in standards and inspired lighting experience to reach in architectural lighting. Herman is tasked to turn the John Cullen Lighting Experience Brand into a Global company.
