The Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Lighting Designer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be based in Dallas, TX, and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in crafting exquisite lighting designs for luxury residential and hospitality projects. As a Senior Lighting Designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing lighting solutions that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces. Your expertise in LEED principles will be instrumental in aligning our designs with sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
– Develop innovative lighting concepts and designs tailored to meet the unique needs of each project.
– Create detailed lighting plans, specifications, and drawings using industry-standard software.
– Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in lighting design to continuously elevate our design standards.
– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers within the team.
– Ensure compliance with LEED requirements and sustainability standards in all projects.

Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting design, with a focus on luxury residential and hospitality sectors.
– Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Lumion.
– Strong understanding of LEED principles and experience integrating sustainable lighting solutions into projects.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to thrive in a remote working environment and collaborate effectively with team members across different locations.
– Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.
